How to migrate Melting Moons to Solana

This site moves your NFT from Cardano to Solana. You burn (forever-lock) on Cardano first, then claim on Solana. Edition numbers are preserved in two collections: Melting Moonboys and Melting Moongirls.

Before you start

• Use a Cardano wallet that holds a Moonboy or Moongirl.
• Keep a small amount of ADA for the burn transaction.
• Have a Solana receive address ready (Phantom, Solflare, …). Claim mint fees are paid by the migration authority.
• Cardano and Solana can be different wallets.
• Burning is permanent. Only continue if you are ready.

Step 01 · Connect

1. Open the Migration terminal.
2. Connect your Cardano origin wallet (Nami, Eternl, Lace, Vespr, …).
3. Set Solana destination: connect Phantom/Solflare, or paste a Solana address or SNS name (name.sol / name.sns). Pasting is required inside Vespr and other Cardano-only mobile browsers that cannot open a Solana wallet.

Mobile (Vespr) path

1. Open this site inside Vespr.
2. Connect Vespr as the Cardano origin.
3. Under Solana destination, paste your Phantom (or other) receive address or an SNS name (name.sol / name.sns), then tap Use destination.
4. Burn on Cardano as usual — the burn binds that Solana address forever.
5. Claim from the same destination (still no Solana wallet connect needed). The NFT appears in that Solana wallet.

Step 02 · Burn on Cardano

1. Select an eligible NFT and click Burn.
2. Approve the transaction that sends the NFT to the migration burn script with your Solana address in metadata label 1990.
3. Wait until the indexer marks the burn Ready to claim.

Step 03 · Claim on Solana

1. Use the same Solana destination bound at burn time (connected wallet or the same pasted address).
2. Click Claim on the ready item.
3. Receive a Metaplex Core NFT with the same art, traits, and edition.

Step 04 · Trade on Solana

1. Open the Melting Moons market with the same Solana wallet.
2. On My Moons or an NFT page, click List / buy on Tensor. Magic Eden does not support these Metaplex Core assets.
3. Complete the listing or purchase on Tensor. Melting Moons never holds your NFT.
